Welcome to Rochester Middle School, a place where students are encouraged to learn, grow, and give their best each day all while having fun along the way! 

At RMS, we believe middle school is a powerful time for discovery, connection, and confidence building. Our dedicated staff is committed to creating a supportive environment where every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential. We focus on developing the whole child, supporting growth academically, personally, athletically, and socially.  

Rochester Middle School is proud to be recognized as a National School to Watch, an honor that reflects our commitment to academic excellence, strong relationships, constant improvement and effective programs that meet the unique needs of young adolescents. This recognition highlights the intentional work of our staff, students, families, and community in creating a school where all learners can succeed.

We prepare students to learn by providing engaging instruction and meaningful learning experiences that promote curiosity and critical thinking. We encourage students to give by showing kindness, serving others, and contributing positively to our school and community. Most importantly, we help students grow by developing resilience, responsibility, and the character skills needed for success in high school and beyond.
