We have Indiana Sheriffs Youth Leadership Camp forms in the office: The cam p is a program provided by the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association for boys and girls who have completed the 7th or 8th grade in school and are interested in learning more about a possible career in law enforcement. The camp provides a very meaningful experience and relationship with other campers from throughout the state. Sheriffs and department personnel serve as counselors and instructors at the camp. Stop by and pick up a form if interested.
Attention parents: School will be in session on Tuesday, May 30th. This is being used as one of our snow make up days.
Students: after May 12th there is no more charging for lunches and after May 19th no more borrowing from the office.
Students are you interested in flying: We have Young Pilots Aviation Camp forms in the office, stop by and pick one up.
Are you interested in bowling for free this summer…..stop by the office for a - Kids Bowl Free Card.
Attention students and parents: RMS ISTEP testing starts today and goes all week. Please make sure you get a good night sleep, eat a good breakfast, be to school on time, and do your best on the test.
Students: we have many iPADS being brought in by parents with no name tag on the front cover. Please make sure your name is on your iPad so we know who it belongs to.

Welcome to Rochester Middle School's website. RMS leads with innovation, inspired teaching, and creative learning. Our faculty and staff make collaboration and relationship building a top priority to ensure student growth. We strive to create a 21st century learning environment that better prepares our students for their future. RMS students have many opportunities to participate in extra-curricular activities including: sports, clubs, academic competitions, and leadership roles. Rochester Middle School is a great place to learn, grow and give as our Mission states. I would like to extend a personal invitation to all parents and community members to visit our school and spend some time with us, give some feedback, and become an active part of what makes our school such an awesome place.
