The RMS Academic Awards Ceremony will be Friday, May 26th at RMS starting at 1:30pm.
Incoming 6th grade Parents: All incoming 6th graders need one Tdap and one meningitis vaccine. Please check with your local pharmacy as some are now able to administer school vaccinations.
Attention parents and students: next Monday, May 29th (Memorial Day) is a holiday, school WILL NOT be in session. Tuesday, May 30th school WILL BE in session, this is the last day of school.
Hey students, are you interested in tennis?? We have Youth Tennis Camp forms in the office. Registration deadline is today.
The 2017 yearbooks will be distributed on Wednesday morning in Mrs. Wilhite's room, beginning at 8:15 for those who ordered and paid for one in the fall. Any remaining yearbooks will go on sale on Thursday morning, also in Mrs. Wilhite's room. The cost is $35. Bring the exact amount of money, or a check payable to RMS. When you receive your yearbook, put your name in the book if it is not personalized on the front. If you want friends to write a message in your book, give it to one person and take it back. If you lose your book, it cannot be replaced unless you pay for another. Be respectful of other students' books. Only write appropriate messages. If you damage another person's book, you will be expected to reimburse them for it.
Attention women and girls of all ages: Join us for the women’s Self Defense Workshop; Saturday, May 27th from 5-8pm. Cost is $10 per person. Location: The Rochester Family Martial Arts, Main St. Any questions please call 847-4821.
Parents: All medication must be picked up by noon on May 30th. Any medication not picked up has to be destroyed. Students cannot take medication home with them.
Attention students and staff: Please wear your cancer awareness shirts on Thursday, May 25th to support your heroic teachers fighting cancer. If you did not purchase one please wear pink, purple or green that day.
Staff and Students: Thursday, May 25, we will have a photo booth available in support of Mrs. Bowers and Mrs. Schoen. You may stop in the library to get your picture taken in the photo booth if you are wearing the t-shirt designed for them, pink, purple, or your PBIS t-shirt. Be like Mrs. Schoen and plan your outfits out for the week and be sure to wear these Thursday for your picture in the photo booth!
Just a reminder: All teacher and student iPads, charger blocks, and cords are to be checked in on Thursday, May 25. If you do not use your iPad, you can bring it to Mrs. Good for check in anytime.
Attention current 8th graders who are about to become freshman: Interested in learning how to play the guitar or furthering your already awesome skills? Talk to your High School guidance counselor about signing up for guitar lab second semester next year!
Students: please come to the art room and pick up your artwork that was displayed in the hallways.
